ABOUT CALVARY CHAPEL OF PERRY
Founding
Calvary Chapel of Perry had their first Sunday morning service on August 3rd, 2003.
Where it really began was back in 1997, when God put it on the hearts of a group of young people in the area, to gather regularly to pray, seeking God for direction.
Soon after, the group opened up a coffee shop in the village of Perry NY, to minister to the crowds of young people on the streets.
It wasn’t long before a group of regulars began meeting weekly for Bible studies.
Soon to follow was the opportunity to purchase a small church where the Word of God would go forth.
What We Do
Today, Calvary Chapel of Perry offers weekly men’s and women’s Bible studies, regular times of prayer, and a Christ-centered educational ministry through our registered Pre-K through 12th grade school. Each ministry exists with the same purpose that began in those early gatherings: to study the word of God, grow in faith, and encourage one another.
Our vision is simple — to keep Jesus at the center of everything we do. We desire to be a church that teaches the Bible faithfully, loves people sincerely, and points our community to the hope only found in Christ.
