Why the Cleaning Ministry Matters at Calvary Chapel

At Calvary Chapel, we believe that the space where we gather to worship should reflect the care and excellence we give to God. Our Cleaning Ministry serves quietly but powerfully—making sure our sanctuary, classrooms, and fellowship areas are fresh, orderly, and welcoming for all who enter.

A clean and well-kept church isn’t just about appearance—it’s about creating an environment where distractions fade and hearts are free to focus on the Lord. By wiping down surfaces, tidying spaces, and ensuring everything is ready for the next service or event, our cleaning team sets the stage for worship, fellowship, and ministry to happen smoothly.

We’re deeply grateful for those who serve in this behind-the-scenes role. Their faithfulness and attention to detail are an act of worship, a reflection of Christ’s servant heart, and a blessing to everyone who calls Calvary Chapel home.

The church gets a lot of use in a week and there are a handful of diligent servants who clean it regularly.
